Please review the following guidelines to ensure your oral presentation is well-prepared and effective.

1. Presentation Format

  • Oral Presentation Only: This conference will feature oral presentations exclusively. There will be no poster presentations.

2. Presentation Duration

  • Time Allocation: Every three presentations (10 minutes each) will be followed by a 15-minute Q&A session.
  • Punctuality: Please adhere strictly to your time slot to ensure that the schedule remains on track.

3. Presentation Content

  • Relevance: Ensure that your presentation aligns with the conference theme: “Forest Conservation in the Anthropocene: Adapting and Mitigating to New Environmental Resilience.”
  • Clarity: Clearly outline your research objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions. Make sure your content is understandable to a diverse audience.

4. Presentation Equipment

  • Audio-Visual Setup: The conference will provide a projector, screen, and microphone for presentations. Please bring your presentation on a USB drive or ensure it is accessible via email or cloud storage.
  • Format: Presentations should be in PowerPoint (PPT or PPTX) or PDF format. Ensure your slides are compatible with the provided equipment.

5. Technical Rehearsal

  • On-Site Check: Arrive at least 30 minutes before your session to test your presentation on the conference equipment. This will help avoid any technical issues during your session.
  • Compatibility: Verify that your presentation displays correctly and that all multimedia components (videos, animations) function properly.

6. Presentation Style

  • Engagement: Engage your audience with a clear, concise, and engaging delivery. Use visuals, graphs, and charts effectively to support your points.
  • Language: Presentations should be conducted in English. Ensure that your language is professional and accessible to non-specialists.

7. Presenter Registration

  • Registration: All presenters must register for the conference and confirm their attendance. Details on registration can be found in the abstract acceptance notification email. We do not publicly show the link for presenters registration to ensure all registered presenters are those whose abstract is accepted. Please understand that registering to the event is obligatory to all presenters to confirm their attendance.

8. Conduct

  • Professionalism: Maintain a professional demeanor throughout your presentation and the conference. Respect the time of your fellow presenters and engage constructively during Q&A sessions.
